I'm Julia! I am a filmmaker and photographer residing in Chicagoland. 

​

I am an editor by trade, working mostly with narrative films and commercial politics. As an editor you have a great responsibility and control- creating stories from snippets of moments and making an emotional impact on an audience. It is like modern day alchemy.

​

I have been a photographer for about 5 years now, and through those years I have seen my small family grow; when my best friend got engaged, when my brother got married, when my niece and nephew was born. Capturing those milestones became one of my greatest passions. Photos allow us to travel back in time, see details long forgotten; it’s a way of translating life, and its most precious moments, through imagery. That’s why I’m a photographer, because I saw the importance of capturing moments of my family, and I wanted to provide everlasting moments for others.
